The New Deal for Communities programme has been able to provide funding for around three hundred projects over its lifetime. Many of those are now being funded by local or national organisations which recognised the value of the work they do in East Brighton.
As the programme comes to into its final years there is less money available to fund local projects, but there are other local and national sources of funding for a wide range of work.
In this section you will find information about funding sources and some guidance on how to improve your chances of getting funding for your project.
Getting Started
Plan the fundraising as carefully as any other aspect of your project. Be clear about:
- what you will use the money for
- where is the best place to seek it
- when you will need it
- how you will demonstrate that you are the best project to be given the money
- who will co-ordinate the fund-raising
